Project Responsibility:
Design, Project Management

Experience
Mr. McKechnie joined OAI in 2014.  From 2011 through early 2014 he worked in Southeast Asia, where he was part of project design team on a range of private projects in the educational, and housing sectors.  Many of the commissions were infill projects designed to be sensitive to the existing infrastructure and neighborhood. The O’ Museum in Bangkok in particular provided the opportunity to develop methods of bringing the outdoors in, while maintaining the controlled environment fine art requires.

Between school terms Mr. McKechnie tried his hand at construction, where he developed an understanding of how buildings should be put together.  He has put that knowledge to good use in his current role in the design of commercial and residential projects.
