Project Location: East Barnett Road & North Pheonix Road, Medford, Oregon

When the southeast quadrant of Medford was incorporated into the city's urban growth boundary, the area was master planned with the input of a citizen's advisory committee. That committee designated areas for residential, mixed office and open space uses and reserved approximately 18AC for a village center on the northeast corner of the two main roads. Oregon Architecture was asked to develop the overall village center plan and tie it in to the adjacent street grid and already constructed residential development. We were also tasked with developing the design parameters for any buildings to be constructed within the center, including standard building trim details and features, which were to be used as a guide for other professionals designing buildings in the future.

The plan is currently under consideration by the Medford City Council, the Medford Planning Commission and the Medford Site Plan and Architectural Review Commission. Completion of that phase and the construction of the first building is expected to be in Spring 2013.
