Project Location: Helman Street and Van Ness Avenue, Ashland, Oregon Located on an oddly-shaped lot in the historic Railroad District of Ashland, it combines six residential units with approximately 8,000 square feet of office space in two buildings separated by a public plaza. Oregon Architecture and the developers worked closely with the City of Ashland’s Historic Commission and Planning Commission to develop a plan that would meet the City’s strict zoning regulations for downtown properties, was compatible with adjacent residential properties and still provides reasonably sized condominiums and office spaces.
