Oregon Architecture was asked by the property’s owner to evaluate an existing site and determine how much building the site could support and what form that building could take. We developed these massing studies, as well as a report that detailed utilities locations and availabilities, likely right-of-way dedications and other public concessions, parking requirements and height restrictions.
The scenario medical office building was also evaluated for ease of construction utilizing the local contractor market, and readily available materials and construction methods.
To maximize parking and thus building square footage, we called for some of the parking to be placed under a portion of the second floor. This had the added benefit of creating view offices in a very low-rise section of the City.
