This was a great project new tenant improvement in an existing building When creating medical offices (as with any general office plan) traffic flow within the space is critically important. Patients, by definition, are ailing, so they need to travel in a logical circuit within the space without backtracking if at all possible. Also, patient privacy is paramount, so construction details need to be thought through to minimize sound transmission.
This space was designed so that patients are greeted at the building entry by staff, then enter the medical unit, circle it once and pass the administration area before exiting through a separate door.
The space was designed to be functional without being ostentatious.
