Principal-in-Charge, Overall Project Management, Construction Phase Services
A Little About Me
I believe in giving back to the profession. I spent nine years on the Oregon Licensing Board and have participated nationally on committees to improve the quality of architectural education and licensing examination. And I have an amazing family.
Mr. McKechnie has been actively involved in the planning, design, project management and construction of a wide range of building types over the course of his career. He has successfully led project teams on projects as diverse as clean room laboratories, golf course club houses and upscale restaurants. He has also been an active member of project teams designing and constructing projects up to $50 million. He has been instrumental in forging relationships between Architects, Contractors, Developers and Owners to successfully navigate the completion a range of building projects, many on difficult sites, and with tight budgets or narrow construction windows.
He is experienced in value engineering and designing to budgets. He has a broad understanding of the construction process from the perspectives of the architect, owner’s representative, developer, and contractor.
