A Little About Me

As the Grandson of a Plumber and the Son of an Architect, I’ve grown up in this business. I love the hands-on aspect of architecture and the opportunity to design creative, cost effective structures that incorporate features with future adaptability.

Experience:

Mr. Whitney has been actively involved in the design and construction of a range of building types for the past 20 years. From 1995 through early 2006 Mr. Whitney worked in Southwest Louisiana as part of the project design team on a range of public works projects in the educational, housing and governmental sectors. Several projects were renovations of historically significant structures.

Since joining OAI in 2006 Mr. Whitney has lead project teams in the design of medical facilities, retail centers and historic renovation projects, with projects size ranging from 3,500 sf to over 170,000. His experience as a designer and constructor of residences in Louisiana has given him a unique perspective in his role of providing construction documents that are clear and buildable.
