This site was the first franchise location for a restaurant group headquartered in Sacramento, California. The franchise has multiple locations in and around the Capitol City, and each reflects a design theme, rather than a cookie-cutter design. The single story structure is over 20 feet tall, 6,800 sf, plus 2,000 sf of outdoor patio and features large exterior artwork playfully displayed on a canvas that is part building shell and part billboard. The inside is divided into several differently-themed spaces with enough wall to minimize sound transmittance through the building interior. The enclosed patio is designed for exterior living, with comfortable lounge seating, waterfalls, a fireplace and several televisions placed strategically in the space. It is separated from the adjacent sidewalk by a five-foot garden wall and is equipped with heaters, misters and ceiling fans.

Project completed: Mid-2017
